September BYOB(ook) List
Hi All!
Bring Your Own B(ook) events are quickly becoming a favorite time of each month for me. Setting aside an hour in the middle of the day to discuss favorite books is pretty magical.
Besides the books of course, I also love a gathering of fellow readers. Each month has brought together a different group with some regulars and some newbies each time but the energy is always great- there is something about readers- we just all get along!
I purposely chose a very flexible theme this month- favorite books by women and I am so glad I did. We talked about some of our most prolific female authors like Nora Roberts (who has written over 225 books!) along with authors whose books have stayed with us for a long time and recent favorites.
The list we created below is as varied as we all are as readers and this is what I love about reading- there is truly a book for everyone!
