Exploring Why Stories Matter
Happy Sunny (finally!!!!) Friday!
On Monday, I launch my very first virtual discussion group, Exploring Why Stories Matter.
As I explain this group to people, I hesitate to say it is a ‘bookclub without the book’ because you know I LOVE bookclubs but really, this is my vision for my groups…
The beauty of book club discussions…
without the pressure to read an entire book.
I enjoy reading- obviously!- but my favorite times in bookclubs are often spent in discussions that start with the plot or characters but move on to bigger topics and questions. So I created just that. In a private Facebook group and on Zoom, we will join for discussion and connection. A few times each week I will kick off the conversation in our private Facebook group with a question, a link to a video, an image, a piece from an article and more- all exploring Why Stories Matter. And I will invite you, on your own time as often or as rarely as you would like, to comment and share your thoughts on what I have posted. Additionally, if you wish, two times during the month (once during the day & once in the evening), we will gather on Zoom to connect face to face.
And if Facebook and/or Zoom aren’t your thing, at the end of the session, I will share a comprehensive document via email with all the links, videos, articles etc that we discussed.
In case you missed it, earlier this week I shared a video (click here to watch) with information about Exploring Why Stories Matter and of course, if you have any questions, please e-mail me at sloscalzo1@gmail.com.
All registration information can be found here.
